Bybit Takes UX Wins at iF Design Awards 2023

Bybit became the only crypto exchange to take multiple awards at the globally known International Forum (iF) Design Award 2023.

The UX tools it created gained it two awards this year, including awards for Bybit Copy Trading, which is an in-app crypto trading tool with a human touch to promote transparency and fairness in the new world of digital finance, and also Crypto Strategy Creation, which is a decision-making aid to help users strategize and personalize trading strategies and navigate the complex digital assets market.

The awards were decided by 88 international independent design experts, and Bybit overtook numerous other crypto exchanges to stand out in the world of crypto exchange UX design. When it comes to making sure clients are happy, UX is a big part of the equation.

A Culture of Clarity

Bybit focuses on making its user experience as easy and straightforward as possible. In other words, the exchange wants to create clarity first for its clients. It uses a consistent design approach to make sure its clients have the best UX possible.

Given its performance at the International Forum (iF) Design Award 2023, its use of font type, icons, consistency to spacing and color palettes, its efforts to make user attention flow naturally are paying off.

In fact, the uniform design elements that Bybit use are a perfect example of how much the crypto space has grown over the past decade. In 2013 there were few professional crypto exchanges, and UX wasn’t put into a prominent position.

Growing From The Early Days of Crypto

As one of the largest crypto exchanges globally, Bybit sets an example of both the ability to grow responsibly, and also how to embrace clients at every level. Making sure an exchange operates well is a big part of its business, but it also pays attention to the user experience at other levels.

Today, Bybit says that “Listen, Care, Improve” is its company mantra, and it is using these important aspects of design to grow its exchange into a changing marketplace. Its efforts have been successful, as the exchange recently passed the 15 million user milestone.

Derek Wang, the Senior Product Design Manager at Bybit, commented,

“We are proud to have emerged as winners in this year’s cutthroat competition. This is a record year for us in elevating user journeys and our efforts were recognized by the gold standard of UX design that is the iF Awards…We want the Bybit experience to not only feel good, but also feel right. The platform should be intuitive, easy to use, and easy to love. We are in the business of supporting millisecond decisions in an information-rich environment, and people’s assets are at stake. As designers of interfaces and experiences, our job is to remove as much friction as possible and create a seamless end-to-end product journey capable of standing up to the scrutiny of even the most demanding user.”

Growing Into an Expanding Market

The crypto world, while under strain at the moment, is taking its place on the world stage. The iF Design Awards have been a force in the world of global design since the 1950s, and today, it is taking notice of the crypto sphere.

In addition, global crypto regulation, like the EU’s MiCA, which recently passed another regulatory hurdle, shows that global regulators are paving the way for even greater crypto adoption and use in the coming decades.

Bybit, with award winning UX design, and a commitment to growth in the sector, will likely be one of the names that is associated with cryptocurrencies as the market continues to attract new users from around the globe.
